Introducing “Books to Go”, a new book bundle service from your local library! Don’t have time to stop in to grab some books? No problem! Just fill out this form with what age range/genre you are looking for and we will pull books for you for pick-up! It’s as easy as that 😁
As many of you know the library is actively working to expand by building a new, larger library building closer to the elementary school. This new building will provide us the opportunity to better serve the community through a larger community space, a kitchen for cooking programs, private study rooms, more shelving for books, DVDs, and audiobooks, and a large outdoor space for outdoor programming! Bit by bit we are collecting the funds needed to build the new library and community center and we ask you to donate anything you can to the cause. We’ve set up a new building fund through GiveButter to make the donation process easy.
We so appreciate anything that you can give and thank you so much for your generosity. It is because of community support that we continue to grow and expand!
Support the library, purchase a high quality canvas tote bag!
The Friends of the Highgate Library and Community Center are running a tote bag fundraiser this holiday season.
Use this tote for grocery store trips, take it to the beach in the summer, or use it to haul home all of your library books 😊 A tote makes a great gift for everyone and it is as useful as it is lovely!
$20 per bag and the first 40 people to purchase a tote get a FREE adult or children’s book! Cash or check accepted.
Stop into the library to check them out and purchase one (or multiples!) before Christmas is upon us!
Highgate Family Ski is a go this ski season! The Friends of the Highgate Library and Community Center in partnership with Jay Peak will be offering nine discounted family ski Sundays this 2020-2021 season. To check family ski dates, ticket pricing, and more click here.
