A Week at the Highgate Library…

Here’s what will be going on at the Library each week during the summer months

Free Messy Icon 272322 | Download Messy Icon - 272322Messy Mondays: (10:00AM-11:00AM & 4:00PM-5:00PM) Children and families are invited to join us for some hands on fun during Messy Mondays. Each week we will have a new activity that allows children to get their hands dirty while expanding their mind.

600px-musical_note_nicu_bucule_01.svg_Tunes On Tuesdays: (10:00-11:00AM) Is music and movement your child’s favorite part of story hour? We’ve got the program for you. Sing, dance, make music, while soaking up the sunshine in our backyard. Get your little one active in a fun way!

29302.pngStory Hour Wednesdays: (10:00AM-11:00AM) Read, craft, and enjoy a healthy snack.  Sponsored in part by The Family Center: Parent Child Center of Northwestern Counseling & Support Services.

Summer Yoga

Saturdays 10:00AM Beginning August 3rd – September 14th

$5 per hour-long class

Fitness Classes in Denver May 18 to 20, 2018 | Westword

Samadhi Yoga and Wellness is proud to be partnering with Highgate Library and Community Center for yoga this summer. This gentle class will be led by Samadhi’s Yoga Alliance 500hr Instructor, Melissa Bruleymoore. The sessions will be held in the Library’s outdoor space (Weather Permitting) Cost: $5

Class will be held on August 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st and September 7th & 14th


Fleece Blanket Making for Project Linus

Tuesday, August 20th 6-9 PM

Meet at the library to tie fleece blankets for Project Linus. Brandie Maskell generously donated bags of fleece. We will provide pizza! Let’s see how many blankets we can make! Fun, family event! Many hands make light work!

HLCC Recipe Club

We’re offering kids the opportunity to get MESSY without the worries of ruining anything. Any projects you don’t want to do in your house, we will be doing in our backyard! Each week we will have a new activity that allows children to get their hands dirty while expanding their mind.
