Wednesday, February 26th – 6 PM
Do you love to cook? Or maybe you just love to eat? Let’s meet monthly to talk all things food and share samples of our favorite recipes. For the February meeting bring a Mardi Gras themed dish to share along with a copy of the recipe. The library will supply bowls, spoons, etc.

Project Linus Blanket-making Social

We’re making blankets to donate to Project Linus, an organization that provides homemade blankets to children in need. Want to learn more about them? Visit their website here https://www.projectlinus.org/

We have some fleece but you are welcome to bring your own. A fun event for the whole family!

A Week at the Highgate Library…

Here’s what we have going on at the Library each week

Messy Mondays: (10:00AM-11:00AM) beginning January 13th. Children and families are invited to join us for some hands on fun during Messy Mondays. Each week we will have a new activity that allows children to get their hands dirty while expanding their mind.

On the Family Ski & Ride Days, we’re offering tickets at a large discount in order to make the mountain more accessible to everyone.

When to pick up your tickets

Tickets must be picked up between 8:30am – 10:00am

NO CREDIT CARDS!

* Cancellations for any reason must be made before 7:30 am ski day

History Making Mondays After-school Program

6 weeks – March 9th – April 13th

Join us as we learn about a different historical figure each week! We will build or craft a project related to that figure. Example: Ben Franklin and kites. Busing provided from the HES with parent /guardian permission. Please pre-register by calling the library 802-868-3970 or on our website https://hlccvt.org/events/register-for-an-upcoming-program. Best for grades 2-6.
